The local trails of Swiss enduro racers Anita and Carolin Gehrig are showcased in this very pretty and very want-to-ride-there-now video.
The Gehrig twins are usually seen in Enduro World Series‘ highlights videos. They are both extremely handy enduro racers, Anita finished 3rd in this year’s EWS overall and Carolin finished 5th. They ride for the Ibis Cycles Enduro Race Team.
This video – called ‘One Day in Flims’ – is not a typo. Flims really is the name of where the Gehrigs are from. There’s a nice variety of trails in this area shown in the video.
Starting with super scenic meadow singletrack, the action then dives into the treeline and features some rooty, curly tracks. To finish off, the Gehrigs pull on their full-face helmets and hit the bike park for some primo airtime.
This is actually the third episode in a series of videos featuring the Gehrig twins. Here are the other two earlier episodes…
The filmmakers say: “In the last of their three Video series the Gehrig Twins take us on their hometrails Flims Switzerland. Although they travel the world, the trails out of their doorstep are among the best. The variety of trails reachable by lifts is just unique! High alpine hiking trails and built downhill tracks the Gehrig Twins shred both. „One day in Flims“- makes you want to jump on your bike immediately.”
