Yoann Barelli shows why he’s one of the top enduro riders in the world

The young Frenchman show his potential
Yoann Barelli is normally one for quirky edits. Whether it’s dressing up as a mad scientist in his Dirt Diaries entry or taking a cyclocross bike on technical North Shore trails, the only thing you can normally expect with him is the unexpected.
This video though, is all about his riding. Despite a DNF in the first round, Barelli still managed to clinch a top-ten position in the overall standings of the Enduro World Series. He also finished the season with two second-placed finishes behind the rampaging Richie Rude.
When you watch him in full flow on these trails it’s easy to see why he is so successful. He displays an inimitable smooth French style as well as some creative line choices and even though he may not be doing something wacky in this video you can still feel his sense of fun as he manuals and hops all over the trail.

Barelli will be hoping to carry on his form into the EWS next year and will no doubt be one of the favourites to take a win at every round. The season will restart in the final weekend in March in Chile before heading to Argentina for the first time ever the following week.
