We've been impressed with RockShox's current Monarch range of shocks but they obviously saw room for improvement and have come up with an updated version branded “DebonAir”. Essentially, it’s a redesigned air can with increased positive and negative air chambers to create a more linear spring curve

The RockShox DebonAir is an option on the 20014 Monarch RT3 and Plus shocks but all 2013 and 2014 Monarch/Monarch plus shocks can be upgraded.
Prices range from €324-€347 for the RT3 and €444 for the Monarch Plus. The upgrade kit alone costs €104.21. Available June 2014.
A more linear spring curve means that less force is needed to move the shock into its travel
