Mesh-lined chest pockets not only feature waterproof zips but also act as vents. Unlike pit zips, these are completely unaffected by trail pack straps. An extra layer of mesh — accessed by zippered openings inside the jacket — offers secure storage, big enough for a Landranger map.
Cut is traditionally cycling with a drop tail, and short front. Long arms keep wrists covered and the fabric resists abrasion well, even if it feels a little ‘crunchy’. While there’s nothing wrong with the Titanium it lacks features compared to other similar weight, and price, jackets, so it loses marks accordingly.
