With inclusive seam taping for just 30 quid, Polaris holds this test to ransom. However skinny the taping, this feature transports the Aqualite from simply resistant to what is conservatively tagged ‘weatherproof’. Also contained within its svelte form is a reflective, detailed zip rear pocket, which the jacket retreats into, and a water-resistant main zip. Plastic zip pulls enable bulky glove operation and a single-sided drawcord collar helps reign in the high neckline.
