The Session ticks all our boxes — it has an embossed Clarino leather palm, neoprene cuff, reinforcement in the crook of the thumb, silicon brake grippers on the two main fingers and articulation on the fingers — but it’s let down by some poor fit and styling.
It’s tight across the back of the hand, the fingers are baggy and it has some odd-looking rubber armour. Neither does it have the snug fit of Troy Lee or Fox. We think Mace would be a whole lot better if it kept things simple.
