Up to six hours of run time and a possible 32watt combined beam are impressive stats, add an after sales reputation to die for and more than a few ears prick up. Two individual lamps can house a wide choice of bulbs (we had a “standard’ 12-20 combo). There are colour options for the tarty folk out there, and the bag or bottle battery option means they’ll fit any bike. But, you will have to choose your bar size, as the – very secure – quick release clamps are not universal. The finish is only average in places, but everything functions perfectly.
Such a bright beam was a revelation on this test. And with a comparable battery time there was no real choice to be made. Lumicycle typify the K.I.S.S. mentality and it pays off – in spades!
