Go down to your local trail centre and you’re guaranteed to see a polyphony of bikes from the most rudimentary hardtails through to full-suss bikes boasting the latest gizmos and gadgets, but how close attention have you really been paying to the bikes around you?

This quiz is designed to test your mountain bike knowledge to its fullest – can you tell a Canyon from a Canfield, a GT from a Giant or a Trek Session from, well, any other bike? All you have to do is study the silhouettes and ascertain which brand and model the bike is from.
