This is a cooking show with a difference
The Windham World Cup was another strong one for the Santa Cruz Syndicate boys and this video may just expose the secret to their success… Greg Minnaar‘s pre-race cooking.
Last episode we saw Greg barbeque-ing steaks for the whole team, but this time we see his real secret weapon. By mixing maple syrup, bacon, yoghurt and eggs, Greg creates his special carbonara sauce that fuelled himself to second place and Josh Bryceland to seventh.
Also in the video is an appearance from the infamous Missy Giove. Giove was a racer in the nineties and noughties and has won a World Championship and two World Cup overalls in her career.
It turns out she has been following the downhill World Cups since her retirement and unsurprisingly Josh Bryceland is one of her favourites. Watch with caution however, her language is pretty blue.
There is now a two week break before the Syndicate boys will be racing again in Val-di-Sole. Val-di Sole houses a legendary downhill track that is sure to make for an exciting finale to the season. Greg Minnaar is still in the race for the overall title so will be training hard for it.
If you enjoyed this episode of the Syndicate check out the last two from Mont-Sainte-Anne and Lenzerheide.
