We’ve just heard from Jim Allen that the bottle on High Street has been found. He’d already been up there once but in this game, perseverance is key — here’s his report:

“Left the office yesterday at 13:30

Got home, got changed, loaded bike into car and left by 14:30

Parked in Hartsop and on bike by 16:20 – by the time I reached Hayeswater it was hurricane force winds, horizontal rain that felt like needles jabbing your face and low cloud giving less than 10m visibility.

Got up over the Knott by 17:15 and Rampsgill Head by 17:30

Found prize by 17:45 and home for 20:00
