“My record attempt on Sunday night will see me spinning my bike on the spot, changing direction, so facing the opposite way and replacing where the front wheel is with where the back wheel is,” Burton said. “But I’m doing it between two tables off the floor, so there are two sharp edges to worry about.”
“This is an existing Guinness World Record that currently stands at 31 switches. On Sunday I will have one minute to do 32 or more, so I am going to have to go like the clappers to clinch the record. I’ve been honing my skill for a bout nine years now, but will need to use all my skill on the night.”
The show is part of a new series on Sky, GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS SMASHED! which goes out every Sunday on Sky1 at 8.00pm
