Registration goes live on Wednesday February 10, with the Passport itself taking place on the weekend of June 26 and 27.
Last year around 800 UK riders took part (4,000 riders in total), the event taking in seven ski resorts in Switzerland and France and traversing more than 75km of list–assisted trail with 6000m of descent.
If you’re thinking this is a downhill event though, think again. Organisers say riders are predominately Cross Country and Enduro orientated, representing more than 88 per cent of riders from the 2009 event.
Places book up fast though, last year within hours for the more popular resorts like Morzine, so get online quick. www.passportesdusoleil.com
Resorts are Avoriaz, Châtel, Les Gets, Montriond-Les Lindarets and Morzine on the French side and Champéry, Les Crosets, Morgins and Torgon across the border into Switzerland.
