RACE FACTS – 400KM of Pure Adventure
The race will start with a short prologue on the Thursday evening in Keswick which will be available to all and is FREE to enter. So if you want a piece of the action but can’t commit to the full race why not enter the prologue, it’s certainly not your usual relay. Warmed up from the prologue, the following morning the real Adventure begins.
With a distance of 400km for the full event it will be a big challenge to all the top teams, but one that should be achievable for ALL with shortcuts available (approx 200km) for the novice or slower teams we hope everyone will enjoy the drama and excitement to be found in the Lake District.
Good navigation is essential for the race, and you will be provided with detailed maps to follow. The race will include fell running, mountain biking, kayaking, orienteering and a few surprises taking you to those hidden gems. Attitude is everything, so be prepared for the unexpected.
