He manages to stay on his bike this time
Claudio’s back! It feels like a long time since we last saw him taking on a World Cup track but with Mont-Sainte-Anne returning this weekend it’s time for him to dust off his bike and charge down the hill.
Unfortunately, there was no rider for him to chase this time. Apparently he attempted to follow Tahnee Seagrave but he crashed and had to start again without her. That didn’t stop his run from being immensely entertaining though.
>>> 5 things to look out for at Mont-Sainte-Anne
Mont-Sainte-Anne is back for a 25th consecutive year and it still remains one of the most feared on the circuit. This year, a new feature has been added – the Rampage Rock.
Rampage Rock is a giant slab about halfway down the course that riders have to drop off, similar to the sort of riding you might see at the Red Bull Rampage.
If you want some more Claudio why not check out his previews from Lenzerheide and Fort William.
So far the men’s races have been won by Greg Minnaar and Aaron Gwin while Rachel Atherton has won the past three women’s races, can anyone top her at Mont-Sainte-Anne?
The race will take place on Saturday at 7:30pm and you can watch a full live stream on Red Bull TV.
