Lapierre Overvolts – e-bikes for racing?!

Details of the new Overvolt AM and Overvolt XC e-MTBs

Just when you thought e-bikes couldn’t generate any more debate along comes Lapierre with the concept of bikes designed specifically for e-bike races.

While we don’t (yet) have many ebike races in the UK, there are a few of them happening in Europe. Nice Vouilloz is a big fan of them funnily enough.

Anyway, regardless of whether very many people at all are ever going to enter an electric MTB race, these new Overvolts from Lapierre are certainly designed to be ridden aggressively by relatively skilled riders.
