Bike Park Wales is set to become Europe’s first demo centre for Enve. Enve is a company that specialises in carbon fibre products including bars,  seatposts and, of course, wheels.

The bike park will be offering customers the chance to trial the wheelsets for £70 a day with a service that includes fitting and feedback, if you choose to purchase the wheelset this fee will be refunded. You can test more than one wheelset at no extra cost.

Bike Park Wales will be stocking 26 inch, 27.5 inch and 29 inch wheels so all potential customers should be covered.

As it stands, Enve produces the only World Cup downhill winning carbon fibre wheelset – the M Series 90 Ten currently ridden by Greg Minnaar and Josh Bryceland in the Santa Cruz Syndicate. Considering a rim alone will set you back nearly a grand though, we think it’s great that there’s now somewhere for riders to try before they buy.
