Think of it as a budget-friendly version of the award winning Blue Pig, it still centres around a light and comfy alloy frame, and you get budget but functional components to keep it priced low.
With 27.5in wheels you’re never going to win any races on the Mmmbop, but it’s more about the thrill of the ride – buy this as a winter thrasher, or a trail centre warrior and you can’t go far wrong.

I’ve got a set of these Horizon Sam Hill edition pedals from 2017, and they’re still running just as well as new. More importantly, I’m still using them despite having access to the latest and greatest pedals around, simply because they cradle my foot so well. Highly recommended.

The Sam Hill Enduro was one of the first pedals to get it right. That meant a big platform, with a concave shape to nestle your foot in, and grippy pins for grip. In fact the Sam Hill version featured in our Editor’s Choice awards back in 2018 and took every group test going.
It does everything right today too, and while other pedal manufacturers have jumped in with bigger platforms and more pins, the Sam Hill Enduro still gets it spot on, particularly if you don’t have enormous feet.
