Diadora X Trivex Plus SPD shoe review
The Diodora X Trivex Plus SPD features Suprell-Tech upper as seen on many of their road shoes, which gives it a supple and moulded feel around the foot.

First impressions of the shoe?
They have a dark upper with red accents and a dark grey sole. I like how they look.
How is the fit of the shoe – ie narrow, wide, normal etc?
The fit feels right, except that the shoe feels a little tall.
How stiff is the sole?
The sole is extremely stiff.
What is the retention system (laces, BOA dial etc), and how has it performed thus far?
The closure system is two Velcro straps and a ratchet system. I find that for my foot I have to tighten all three all the way for a good fit, but besides that, they don’t come unfastened while riding.
How are the shoes off the bike for walking etc?
They are good for walking, the hard rubber sole is curved a little and so it doesn’t feel like walking in ski boots.
Performance and durability – how long have you had these shoes? Which features are good/bad, and how well have they stood up to use?
I have had these shoes for about four months. They are SPD shoes, and there is good clearance for mounting the cleats. I have had no trouble with the sole interfering with clipping in and out (I run Shimano cleats and pedals). So far the only damage is cosmetic due to mud.
