Despite falling into the heavier category in this test, a clever combination of lighter, stretch fabric at the elbows, nape of neck and hood gave the Attack 360 a more mobile feel than most.

It did give the sleeves a bit of an odd, baggy look at times, but the function was there.

Removable hood won’t fit over helmet

A removable hood meant we could stash it when not in use, or forget it completely when we would rather go without, which most of us did when we realised it wouldn’t go over our helmets.

Although the cuffs were adjustable, the inner Lycra cuffs hampered airflow and generally just annoyed us when they soaked up moisture, staying wet for far longer than the rest of the jacket.

Ventilation was impressive though, with an adjustable hem and some lengthy zipped vents under each arm.

Finally, the Altura had plenty of cargo space, with two small chest pockets and a cavernous back pocket to hold all our odds and sods.
