>>> Silence your bike in four easy steps
This one is aimed at the many cyclists who live in apartments or houses without garages/sheds and need somewhere to store their pride and joy. There’s only so often you can shin a pedal on the way in or out of your flat before you go crazy.
There are plenty of stylish looking wall- and even ceiling-mounted storage options out there. The Airlok is intended to be one of those but one that also offers a good level of anti-theft protection built-in.

Hiplok, known for their wearable belt-locks, are trying to raise a total of £70,000 on Kickstarter for the Airlok high security wall-mounted bike hanger. The nominal cost per Airlok is £130 but as is usual on Kickstarter you can get big discounts by pledging early.
The final expected release date of the Airlok will be January 2017.
While this product is arguably more aimed at road cyclists, there will be more than a few mountain bikers out there who’ll be interested to see how this Kickstarter goes.
The main restriction will be the ‘mouth’ of the hanger. Some super sloping or complicated top tube arrangements of some full suspension bikes may not fit.
Having said that, the mouth looks pretty deep and wide to us and doesn’t appear to overly restrictive or very dependent on specific top tube dimensions.
