Scott Trail MTN Dryo 20 jacket review
The Scott Trail MTN Dryo 20 is light enough and packable enough to be an only jacket for mtbers that ride a wide range of conditions.
>>> The best waterproof mtb jackets
One of the lightest of all-day style jackets. It’s a bit big for stuffing in a pocket though. It’s a lovely bit of kit – well-sized and well-shaped with a long back, and good drawcord adjustment at the hem, good length sleeves with adjustable cuffs and plenty of room in the sleeves if you ride padded up.
The DRYOsphere fabric feels good against the skin, is amazingly waterproof and also very breathable, and with lengthy pit zips and mesh-lined chest pockets, it also ticks all the ventilation boxes making it a good bet for those that run hot.
The hood is absolutely awesome – cavernous and very adjustable – perfect for pulling up over a helmet in foul weather and ideal for keeping warm while waiting for your buddies; and the peak is reinforced so good for keeping rain out your eyes. The only downside is that it is fixed so is susceptible to wind.
The attention to detail throughout the jacket is second to none with soft fleecy patches on the collar and a good solid storm flap as a well a water resistant zip. Great value that looks classy too – a real contender.
