Including 'Blind for Booty'
The UCI’s mountain bike Facebook page was hacked on Thursday night resulting in the mass-posting of a number of inappropriate and risqué images.
The UCI usually posts a mix of race reports, interviews and inspiring pictures but this was interrupted by a stream of bawdy posts including: “Watch bikini girls go on a boat trip in 4k st start a good day” and Crazy Korean girl makes fruit juice in the most hysterical way possible”.
The UCI’s main page was also targeted and posted links including: “The dribble dancers are back with moves you can’t take your eyes off”, “Blind for booty” and “This twerking freestyle of ‘lean on me’ may be the best twerking video you’ve seen”.
Despite several users reporting that they sent messages to the organisation, these posts were up for a few hours before being deleted. The UCI has said: “As you may have noticed our page was being hacked for the last few hours… But we’re now back on track! Thanks for your patience and understanding.”
The hackers posts all seem to direct to a website called Laughwithvoice, but we’d recommend you play it safe and keep away from it – we’re no experts, but we’re sure there’s plenty of twerking on safer parts of internet if that’s your thing!
It’s not been a great January for the UCI as it was also attacked earlier in the month by Steve Peat who said: “I don’t think they [the UCI] support downhill as best as they could. A lot of people in there are into road cycling and have been around road cycling and track cycling for many years and they prefer to back the disciplines that are in the Olympics rather than the good sports.”
