It’s French cattle farming and enduro trials riding put together…
We’ve come to expect certain things from an ‘enduro edit’ and we’ve also come to expect certain things from French farmers but this video has proved all of our expectations wrong. Here is an ‘enduro edit’ with a difference… some cattle, a tractor and a farmer or two.
In a similar vein to the videos we see from Chris Akrigg and Yoann Borelli, Aurelien Fontenoy gives a demonstration in bike handling in this video of him riding every obstacle known to modern farm life. Our particular favourite is his balancing on the tractor wheel as it moves; kind of like a log rolling equivalent for biking.
The French seem to have a love for farmyard themed riding videos; with fun on the farm being released last winter and now this trials video. With pinpoint accuracy, incredible bike handling skills and some candid tractor manoeuvring it really is a sight for sore eyes.
Quentin Chaumy knows a thing or two about trials riding too, and here he is hitting the streets aboard his big bike, throwing it around like it weighs two kilos less than it does.
Big bike trials riding has become more and more mainstream lately; ever since the release of The Ridge people have been following in Danny MacAskill’s footsteps and picking up their 160mm bikes.
