The Renthal FatBar may be more at home on downhill bikes than trail bikes but we reckon its still good enough for your everyday rig
Renthal FatBar handlebar review
The Renthal FatBar was one of the first 780mm bars and it’s still bang on the money width–wise.

The shape is good too; 7° backsweep and 5° upsweep means you don’t need to rotate it to a weird angle. With 10, 20, 30 and 38mm rises you should be able get your hand position spot on, even aboard a long-travel 29er.
Like other downhill focussed bars, the Fatbar has a positioning grid for easy control set-up and there’s a hard anodised finish to stop the controls scuffing the alloy.

The Renthal Fatbar is certainly heavier than a standard trail bar, but it can take the knocks, and there’s still plenty of resilience to absorb trail chatter. If you’re after a bar for an all-mountain or DH bike, then look no further.
