The Ragley Wiser is a totally new bar from Ragley, will it be beginners luck or a rookie error?
Ragley Wiser handlebar review
The Ragley Wiser has a two-tone shot-peened/polished finish, which we quite like because it just looks a bit different to the regulation black we’re used to seeing on other bars.

Indicator graphics in the centre help when setting the bar angle, and there are cut marks at either end for accurate trimming. Not that we’d recommend chopping anything off the Wiser because at 760mm, it is probably narrow enough.
For a first attempt Ragley absolutely nails the shape, combining 5° upsweep and 9° backsweep. This allows you to fine-tune the angle of the control centres without compromising on the reach.

The Ragley Wiser is made from good quality 7075-T6 aluminium tubing, and while it’s a little bit dead-feeling, the finish has been hard-wearing and it’s a good weight.
If you’re looking for a wide aluminium bar at an affordable price then you won’t get better than the £40 Ragley Wiser
