Designers at Race Face must have odd-shaped hands because the thumb in the Atlas is about an inch longer than anything else. Not that the Atlas fits well; it’s really baggy in the palm and the fingers are all square ended. We also found our thumb slipped into the liner, which seems not to be stitched in place correctly. Open-cell foam padding covers the glove, and there’s a Kevlar patch on the side. The brown colour is a departure from the norm but the pattern on the upper just looks like someone has wiped their nose on it.
