The Komodos come in the full range of sizes, meaning you should be able get a good fit and there’s no scope for material bunching at the palm. They’re also fairly comfy, thanks to the pre-curved fingers and Amara leather palm, and the protection looks good with raised and moulded Neoprene knuckles and reinforced padding patches around the heel. Unfortunately, this is where the positives stop — the stitching on the first pair we tested started to come away around the knuckles and cuffs after just two rides and the second pair wasn’t much better, lasting about the same time. The third pair fell apart straight out of the packet and that’s where we gave up. It’s something of a let-down considering the decent look and feel of the things — we’ll try again when Lizard Skins gets things sorted.
