This style of Specialized shoe has been around for a long time now, and there aren’t many grizzly old mountain bikers that haven’t owned a pair at some point in their riding career. Lightweight, snug-fitting, comfortable and yet capable of delivering a race-ready performance when asked — there are few that measure up for the price. The sole tread is hard, but with enough give to grip on rocks when you need it to, and the sole itself is rock hard for putting the power down. It all makes for a shoe that is as good on the trail as it is on the race circuit, and although not the best on test for walking, it is definitely not the worst. A great all-rounder for fast riding.
