You can only fit this guard by removing the seatpost, but once in place it stays tight. Long or short brackets are available depending on whether you’re fitting this to a suspension bike and need the extra clearance or a hardtail and don’t. A single bolt holds the guard securely onto the clamp and it has a small amount of tilt adjustment. Styling is basic but the coverage is excellent and it’s well priced and durable. Keeping it simple has definitely paid off in this respect.
