Mountain bikes have changed a lot over the last few years but it seems the paint and other frame finishes manufacturers use still chip off at the slightest provocation. Charge’s Chipper will help reduce the damage. It’s typical of most chainstay protectors being a neoprene wrap secured with Velcro. Right now it only fits Charge frames or similar, with slim chainstays, but the company told us that potentially more sizes could be produced, although we’re not holding our breath. Available in two colours, the Chipper is cheap, light and if it gets dirty you can wash it.
