Despite the hood, the Cross is a cycle-specific design. The elongated tail and slightly-shortened front are indicators of this, as are the long arms. However, the very subdued styling and aforementioned hood widens the appeal and usability.
Articulated sleeves maintain a good — non-pulling — arm fit, and a single popper adds a much appreciated element of security to the Velcro-fastened storm flap. The excellent breathability makes this jacket a pleasure to wear, and the subtle design made the Cross one of the surprises of the test: an excellent performer, fitting well in the saddle but — ultimately — very usable in the real world.
