The SLK has a body off of Baywatch but a head off Crimewatch. It combines a lightweight and thin-walled quill, but the forged Nano-Pro head is crude, clunky and one reason this post is only mid-weight, not featherweight.
We also found it pretty hard to precisely adjust the tilt of the saddle with the machined indents on the clamps.
Of the dozen posts tested the FSA is the only one that comes with a sachet of Liquid Torque and in this respect FSA is ahead of the game. Overall it is great value for a carbon post but the ugly, heavy head is out of place.
