When we first fitted the Bilt Flattys the bearings were smooth but a tad tight, but after a couple of rides they started to spin freely. With nine adjustable grub screws per side the Flattys provide plenty of grip, but longer pins would be a bonus for non-Five Ten users. The profile of the pedal is spot on, not as thin as Atomlab offerings but more robust — we’ve only managed to shave the heads off some of the pins. One of the best Easton copies we’ve tested.
