“My self and the wife found the treasure. We weren’t first on site as two lads had used their wap phones to get the co-ordinates from the top of chimney bank. We drove up from wrelton(near pickering) having got the co-ordinates off the internet at home then geo-cached them in the GPS. It was under a stone in front of the cairn that was 40yds off the trail.
everyone had similar ideas and probaly 15 people appeared at the spot within the hour from each of the the three directions of approach, we found it at 9:17. It was a good day for a ride as other have posted”
